Job summary

Gallagher is seeking a sales-focused professional to drive new business revenue and manage client relationships in the Rolling Meadows area. You will participate in team sales efforts and provide high-quality service to clients with a focus on mid-market companies.

Preferred candidates will have a Bachelor's degree with licensing or a GSIP background, plus strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams and deliver meaningful risk-management solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 1 year related experience and insurance licensing, or Bachelor's with GSIP internship and licensing, or HS diploma with 6 years experience.
• Professional designation may be preferred: CEBS, CPCU, CIC, or ARM.
• Behaviors: Act independently with minimal direction and strong communication/interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and acquires new business revenue through sales to new and existing clients, focusing on small to mid-size companies with high revenue.
• Provides service to clients according to their needs, retaining them as clients and supporting team sales scenarios.
• Assists, educates and develops staff in new client sales and account service, and maintains interdivision/intercompany relationships.
