Job summary

Openwork is seeking a Growth Operations Director to partner with market and regional leaders to drive performance and growth across our markets. This hands-on leader will evaluate what’s working, address gaps, and implement initiatives that strengthen execution and results.

You’ll travel 25–50% to support markets in person, lead teams, stabilize performance, and develop leaders while aligning operations with our strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience leading teams and improving performance.
• Experience managing a P&L and accountability for financial and operational results.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze performance metrics and act on insights.
• A hands-on leadership style with the ability to coach, influence, and hold teams accountable.
• Proven experience developing leaders and improving team performance.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience leading through change and implementing new processes, systems, or initiatives.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel 25–50%

Responsibilities

• Partner with market and regional leaders to evaluate performance and develop action plans.
• Step into markets as a hands-on leader to stabilize performance and strengthen execution.
• Monitor key metrics across sales, recruiting, service delivery, productivity, and profitability.
• Lead, coach, and develop market teams to improve accountability and performance.
• Support onboarding and development of market leaders.
