Job summary

Alsco Uniforms is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative and specialized maintenance of the facility and its equipment, ensuring compliance with regulations and policy. You will collaborate with plant personnel to improve equipment performance and ensure safe, cost-effective operation, including wastewater and power plant equipment.

The role requires teamwork, 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience, and proficiency with automation and control systems.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent; additional training in plumbing, electrical, steam, controls, PLC, welding, and mechanical systems.
• 2+ years industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with electrical schematics, low voltage troubleshooting, and controls.
• Boiler operator license and wastewater certification (where required).
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the General Manager, Production Management team, and other operational partners to support facility operations.
• Use a computerized Preventive Maintenance (PM) program daily to document repairs, complete maintenance activities, and respond promptly to equipment failures.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment with an emphasis on automation and control systems.
• Maintain compliance with operational, safety, and environmental requirements by completing safety training, recording and retaining required documentation, supporting wastewater compliance, and maintaining computerized maintenance records.
• Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment and infrastructure to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.
