Job summary

Pagos Consultants Ltd. in San Francisco is seeking a hands-on Head of Growth to own demand generation from day one.

You will personally run paid campaigns, write compelling copy, and build a measurement framework, hiring a team as channels scale. Key responsibilities include launching and optimizing paid acquisition across Meta, Google, and beyond, developing acquisition economics, and creating scalable creator, affiliate, and content programs.

Qualifications

• Direct experience running paid campaigns with channel selection, creative, budgets & optimization.
• Proven track record scaling products/newsletters/channels with measurable results.
• Strong understanding of conversion tracking, CAC and channel economics.
• Experience owning a meaningful marketing budget and recognizing diminishing returns as spend grows.
• Breadth across acquisition channels and willingness to test beyond core strengths.
• Excellent writing skills to produce persuasive copy in founder’s voice.
• Practical experience building automation that enhances work with human oversight.

Responsibilities

• Launch and scale paid acquisition across Meta and Google, then expand to lifecycle, creator partnerships, affiliates, content and organic discovery.
• Establish reliable conversion tracking, including server-side events where appropriate, and improve data quality.
• Build a clear view of acquisition economics by channel, including free-trial credits and AI inference costs.
• Create a scalable creator and agency program with frequent fresh ad creatives.
• Build an affiliate program with clear incentives and signup process.
• Develop a content engine that showcases product workflows and use cases.
• Partner with engineering on SEO and measurement, supported by video and community content.
• Write landing pages, ads, emails, social posts and video scripts yourself.
• Own launches across positioning, copy, social, email, video, press and community.
• Report weekly acquisition volume and costs, assess channel incrementality, decide scaling decisions.
• Hire growth specialists as channels prove out and leverage AI to increase output.
