Job summary

Plutus, a fast-growing Kirkland-based fintech startup, is seeking a Founding Growth Lead to own customer growth. This role is for someone highly analytical, curious about what drives customer behavior, and willing to use every tool to acquire, activate, and grow customers.

Based in our Kirkland office five days a week, you will own growth initiatives across acquisition, activation, retention, and referrals, hypothesize and run experiments, and leverage AI and automation to scale results.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical orientation and data fluency.
• Track record of driving measurable customer or revenue growth.
• Experience running growth experiments across multiple channels.
• Hands-on without a large team or agency.
• Strong understanding of modern growth, analytics, automation, and AI tools.
• High level of curiosity, resourcefulness, and ownership.
• Experience in fintech, investing, financial services, or consumer financial decision knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own growth — understand drivers of customer and AUM growth and scale.
• Follow the data — analyze acquisition, activation, retention, referrals, and behavior.
• Experiment constantly — develop hypotheses, run experiments, measure results, and scale what works.
• Use every channel — paid, organic, content, SEO, lifecycle, referrals, partnerships, community, product-led growth.
• Be technical — work with data, analytics, attribution, automation, APIs, and modern growth tooling.
• Use AI aggressively — research, create, analyze, personalize, test, and execute with AI and automation.
• Understand the customer — who uses Plutus, why they trust us, and what motivates investment.
• Think like an owner — identify opportunities, prioritize, execute, and own the results.
