Job summary

Driftwood Music Group is seeking a hands-on HR leader to guide our people team as we scale. You will own all HR functions, partnering with leadership to align people strategy with growth, and work closely with the finance team to ensure smooth payroll processing.

The role emphasizes building modern HR practices, supporting leaders and employees, and ensuring compliance with federal and state laws. The position is hybrid in Austin, TX, with an office presence three days per week.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of broad HR experience in a small business, startup, or growing company.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; professional certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Run all parts of human resources including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compensation, benefits, payroll, and compliance.
• Partner with finance on payroll and ensure accurate payroll processing.
