Job summary

The Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Bulk Account Merchandiser (BAM) to sell, order and present products across assigned accounts while executing promotions and ensuring stock quality.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, customer service experience, and the ability to work on a fast-paced, physically demanding route. A valid driver’s license and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Must have effective communication skills including listening, speaking, and writing.
• Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs. repetitively).
• Secondary education beyond high school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages, sells, and executes in an assigned group of customers on daily routes and generates sales orders to ensure day-to-day success.
• Executes promotions and new products based on LOS initiatives and promotions to ensure RIGHT Execution Daily scores.
• Fills, merchandises, and rotates products on display and shelf per procedures and programs.
• Maintains back room by stacking/arranging product, handling returns and damaged items.
• Creates and distributes point-of-sale materials and ensures proper vendor operations.
• Fosters business relationships with store personnel and follows up on requests and opportunities.
• Identifies competitive issues and market activities and communicates them to the team.
