Job summary

Rexel USA in Artesia, NM is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to drive proactive inside sales and marketing efforts. You will build customer relationships, process quotes and orders, and pursue growth from existing customers.

You will support outside sales, use digital tools to promote products, and prospect for new accounts within the territory. Strong communication, negotiation, and ERP/CRM skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience.
• High School or GED - Required.

Responsibilities

• Process telephone orders by quoting product prices, delivery specifications, and payment terms.
• Assist outside sales personnel by processing priority transactions.
• Utilize company digital tools to sell, market, promote, demonstrate products, answer technical questions, and increase business.
• Prospect for new accounts within a specified geographical territory.
• Manage a defined customer base and establish and maintain customer relationships.
• Learn and evaluate customer operations to identify objectives and requirements; close orders and resolve issues.
• Process quotations/proposals and provide follow-up throughout purchasing cycle.
• Gather and report market and pricing information to management.
• Participate in product meetings and training to enhance knowledge.
