Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of outside sales experience.
• Experience winning new business in competitive environments.
• Able to prospect, cultivate, and close opportunities.
• Excellent communication and sales presentation skills.
• Builds trust with diverse people; strong integrity.
• Willing to travel across the territory.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior knowledge of agricultural/outdoor power equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships and expand customer pipelines.
• Implement strategies to increase sales and profit by prospecting.
• Create customer-specific proposals based on needs analysis.
• Conduct market research for competitive comparisons.
• Develop and maintain industry trend expertise.
• Maintain sales information for all customers in the territory.
• Maintain company vehicles and equipment.
• Conduct field demonstrations of new equipment.
• Monitor customer business trends and report to management.
• Know used equipment values and evaluate for trading purposes.
• Understand financing options to assist customers.
• Attend sales training events/seminars.
