Qualifications

• 3+ years of outside sales experience
• Experience winning new business in a competitive environment
• Self-driven prospecting and needs analysis
• Strong communication and sales presentation skills

• Valid driver's license and safe driving record

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships and expand the customer pipeline
• Prospect within the defined territory to increase sales and profit
• Prepare customer-specific proposals based on needs analysis
• Conduct market research for competitive comparisons
• Maintain expertise on industry trends and best practices
• Keep sales management information for all customers
• Maintain company vehicles and equipment
• Conduct new equipment field demonstrations
• Communicate trends to management in a timely manner
• Understand used equipment values for trading decisions
• Know financing options to assist purchases
