Qualifications

• Experience winning new business in a competitive environment.
• Self-driven with prospecting and closing skills.
• Excellent communication and sales presentation skills.
• Relates well to diverse people and builds trust.
• Willingness to travel across the assigned territory.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with agricultural/outdoor power equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships and expand customer pipelines.
• Prospect within the defined territory to increase sales and profit.
• Create customer-specific proposals based on needs analysis.
• Conduct market research to produce competitive comparisons.
• Develop and maintain expertise on industry trends and best practices.
• Maintain sales management information for all customers in the territory.
• Maintain assigned vehicles and equipment.
• Conduct new equipment field demonstrations.
• Monitor trends in customer activity and report to management.
• Know used equipment values and advise on trade-ins.
• Explain financing options to customers.
• Attend sales training events/seminars.
