Job summary

ThompsonGas is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Lexington, NC for an onsite, full-time role. The position focuses on customer retention, acquisition, and support, handling inbound/outbound calls, data entry, and billing tasks with accuracy and professionalism.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in customer service, strong communication, and the ability to upsell within a fast-paced environment. CARGAS/MPX experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years of Customer Service experience.
• Sales experience strongly preferred; ability to upsell.
• Experience with CARGAS and MPX systems preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls with a focus on sales and customer support.
• Update customer account information in CARGAS and MPXsystems.
• Process billing payments for walk-in customers.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service.
• Provide timely information on customer order status.
