Job summary

Affinity Federal Credit Union in Morris County, NJ seeks a Business Development Officer to build banking relationships with middle market and larger businesses. You will generate new sales opportunities by networking, marketing, and promoting Affinity, focusing on new member deposits, loans, and cross-selling.

The role requires travel within the NJ footprint and at least five years of business development experience in financial services.

A minimum of 5 years of business development in financial services is required.

Responsibilities

Focus on acquisition and development of new commercial member relationships.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organization.
Advise business members on financial solutions and strategies.
Manage and review current member relationships for new opportunities.
Identify quality Select Employee Group opportunities through development of business relationships.
Achieve assigned sales goals.
Demonstrate understanding and development of business financial solutions.
Sales tracking and reporting.
Ensure follow up activities to maximize closing business.
Foster teamwork by developing small business skills and providing ongoing coaching to member facing team; partners in assigned markets to identify referral opportunities.
Manage all referrals from line of business partners.
Articulate Affinity’s core values.
