Job summary

Hylant is seeking a Client Executive in the United States (Michigan) to grow and manage a client book within the Individual Solutions market. You will proactively generate leads, nurture relationships, and present solutions to meet client needs.

You will manage renewals, identify cross-sell opportunities, and collaborate with leadership to drive growth and retention. Regular travel for meetings and events is required, and licensing in P&C or Life & Health is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of proven insurance brokerage sales experience.
• Active Property & Casualty or Life & Health license.
• Knowledge of agency management, benchmarking information, and risk management principles.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel for meetings, conferences, or other business functions.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a book of business and incrementally grow it each year.
• Generate sales leads through regular prospecting, cold calls, networking, and cross-selling.
• Develop and expand relationships with new and existing customers.
• Understand client requirements and match Hylant solutions to needs.
• Schedule and conduct sales presentations for potential customers.
• Manage client renewal processes and identify upsell opportunities.
• Collaborate with Managing Partners to co-lead a book of business as needed.
• Represent Hylant at trade and industry events.
