Job summary

Citi Trends is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Huntsville, AL to support daily store operations, lead the team, and drive sales performance. You will partner with the Store Manager to ensure exceptional customer experiences, maintain merchandising standards, and support hiring, onboarding and development of store associates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or similar retail leadership role.
• 3–5 years of overall retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and people leadership skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Basic math calculations and percentage skills.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations to meet sales goals and customer experience standards.
• Guide associates to deliver excellent customer service and monitor sales activity.
• Assist with inventory control, shrink prevention, and compliance with policies.
• Supervise and support staff in sales, inventory, cash handling, and customer service.
• Assist Store Manager with hiring, recruiting, onboarding, and training support.
• Help with staffing levels and employee retention; provide coaching and feedback.
