Job summary

Citi Trends is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, lead a team, and assist with staffing. You will help drive sales performance, maintain operational excellence, and support hiring and development of store associates.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in retail leadership, strong communication and organizational skills, and flexibility to work nights and weekends. This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a positive customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or similar retail leadership role.
• 3–5 years of overall retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and people leadership skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations, including percentages.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations, drive sales, and maintain customer experience standards.
• Supervise and support store associates in sales, inventory, cash handling, and customer service.
• Assist Store Manager with hiring, onboarding, and training support.
• Maintain safe, organized store environment and adherence to policies.
