Job summary

Citi Trends is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Anniston, AL to support daily store operations and lead the team alongside the Store Manager. You will help drive sales performance, maintain operational excellence, and participate in staffing and onboarding of store associates.

The role requires strong communication and leadership, with 2–4 years in a retail leadership role and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years in an Assistant Manager or retail leadership role.
• 3–5 years of overall retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational and people leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations to meet sales goals and customer experience standards.
• Monitor sales activity; guide associates to deliver excellent service.
• Assist with inventory control, transactions, and shrink prevention.
• Ensure compliance with Citi Trends policies and standards.
• Supervise and support staff in sales, inventory, cash handling and service.
