Citi Trends is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, lead a team, and assist with staffing and development. You will partner with the Store Manager to drive sales performance and maintain exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

In this role you will help with hiring, onboarding, and training while ensuring adherence to policies and loss prevention standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2–4 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or similar retail leadership role.
• 3–5 years of overall retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and people leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations to meet sales goals and customer experience standards.
• Monitor sales activity and guide associates to deliver excellent customer service.
• Assist with inventory control, transactions, and shrink prevention.
• Supervise store associates and support hiring, onboarding, and training.
• Maintain a safe, organized store environment and ensure policy adherence.
• Execute merchandising, operational, and visual standards.
