Job summary

MyFitnessPal is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our Subscription Growth squad within the Engineering team. You will drive double-digit paid subscriber growth on top of our payments platform, guiding a cross-functional group of backend and iOS engineers toward outcomes-driven delivery.

You will partner with Product and Design to explore growth strategies across mobile and web apps, making technically sound decisions grounded in product context.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience leading engineering teams in close partnership with Product and Design.
• Strong analytical focus with data attribution and experimentation skills.
• Experience building consumer-facing apps (native) with scalable architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional team of backend and iOS engineers focused on outcomes over outputs.
• Partner with Product and Design to explore Growth solutions across mobile and web apps.
• Manage delivery, backlog health, tech debt scheduling, and timely breakdown of work.
• Coach and develop the team with clear goals, context, and decision-making frameworks.
