Checkr is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Growth team focused on the self-serve funnel: Acquisition, Activation, Expansion and Retention. You will coach and inspire the engineering squad to ship new products and features at scale for Checkr’s growth initiatives.

You’ll partner with product management, mentor engineers, reduce technical debt, and raise the bar for velocity and quality while fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture in San Francisco.

Qualifications

• 4+ years as an engineering manager.
• 8+ years as an engineer.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with TDD, pair programming and agile methodologies.
• Experience managing quality incidents as both technical lead and communication lead.
• Experience with scalable products and regulated data considerations.
• Strong critical thinking, decision making, problem solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to mentor and grow teams with inclusive leadership.

Responsabilités

• Lead a growth-focused engineering team delivering self-serve features to improve acquisition, activation, expansion and retention.
• Drive test experimentation across surfaces to unlock incremental value and improve customer experience.
• Shape technical vision and align with product management for new features.
