Job summary
Lenze Americas Corporation is seeking a Market Development Sales Engineer – GMC to drive new OEM opportunities in the General Motion Control segment from Chicago, IL or Kansas City, MO area. This remote role emphasizes hunting for untapped customers, building a strong growth funnel, and converting opportunities into revenue.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Automation or related experience preferred.
- 5+ years in technical sales, sales engineering, or business development in industrial automation sectors.
- Experience supporting OEM applications in HVAC-R, data center cooling, or related markets highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Identify high-potential OEM opportunities in the GMC segment focusing on AC inverter (VFD) and drive-based solutions.
- Qualify leads and secure initial customer meetings.
- Lead discovery conversations to understand applications and buying processes.
- Support customer presentations and demos with engineering teams.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline to advance opportunities through the funnel.
