Job summary

Material Handling Inc. is seeking a driven Territory Manager to grow revenue, expand market share, and build lasting customer relationships across assigned markets in the United States.

This role requires a proactive, competitive professional who can identify opportunities, deliver solutions, and manage a robust sales pipeline. You will conduct site visits, product demonstrations, and customer presentations, collaborate with internal teams, and travel across the territory to support customers

Qualifications

• 3+ years of outside sales or business development experience.
• Experience in material handling, industrial equipment, construction, or manufacturing a plus.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory growth strategy focused on increasing revenue and market share.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned accounts and target markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers.
• Conduct sales calls, site visits, equipment demonstrations, and customer presentations.
• Partner with customers to understand operational needs and recommend solutions.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure exceptional customer experience and support.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurately forecast opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
• Represent MHI professionally within the territory and industry.
• Utilize CRM tools to manage activities, opportunities, and customer information.
