Job summary

Material Handling Inc. is seeking a Dock & Door Territory Manager to drive growth in assigned markets by identifying opportunities, building customer relationships, and delivering solutions that improve operational performance.

You’ll generate a robust sales pipeline, present compelling proposals, negotiate pricing, and partner with internal teams to ensure execution and customer satisfaction across the territory.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in industrial/material handling sales.
• Proven success in new business development and closing deals.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Willing to travel throughout assigned territory and hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new business opportunities within assigned markets.
• Generate and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
• Conduct customer visits, facility walkthroughs, and operational assessments.
• Identify dock and door equipment needs and recommend customized solutions.
• Build relationships with warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution leaders.
• Deliver compelling proposals and presentations.
• Negotiate pricing and close business confidently. Partner with internal teams to ensure successful execution and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline data within CRM.
• Represent MHI professionally throughout the marketplace.
