Job summary

Fremont Bank seeks a Personal/Relationship Banker to deliver world-class service and expand client relationships in a branch setting. You will promote retail and business products, handle cash occasionally, and work toward sales and referral targets while maintaining accurate client documentation.

You will participate in outbound calls and external networking to grow the client base, while upholding compliance and quality standards in all interactions.

Qualifications

• 2 years sales and customer service experience in a customer facing banking environment with previous new account opening responsibilities or equivalent preferred
• Signing Authority preferred
• Previous success in building client relationships and meeting banking sales and lending objectives
• Familiarity with small business deposit and lending products, plus prospecting and cold calling
• Knowledge of bank products and services and effective sales techniques
• Understanding of banking regulatory compliance issues
• Excellent listening and presentation skills
• Minimum 1 year of cash handling experience recommended
• Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs
• Basic computer literacy (Windows) and MS Office
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• Professional appearance required
• High school diploma or GED required
• College degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer experience in line with bank standards
• Explain, promote, and refer Fremont Bank products to clients
• Meet sales and referral objectives and support branch goals
• Maintain performance records and pipeline progress with management
• Conduct telemarketing and follow-up duties when assigned
• Engage in outside business development activities and community events
• Communicate consumer and business deposit and lending products clearly
• Open new accounts and service existing ones, including business customers
