Job summary

You will maintain frequent communication, handle basic issues, solicit orders, and assist with leads, reports, and product introductions. Requires a high school diploma and 0–2 years in customer service, with basic computer skills and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school graduate.
• Minimum 0-2 years of experience, preferably in customer service.
• Working knowledge of computer and business software, including Microsoft applications (Excel, Word and Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Maintains frequent communication with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Handles basic issues and refers complex ones to higher-level staff.
• Solicits sales orders from existing regional customers via phone and develops new customers via marketing leads.
• Assists qualifying leads by gauging interest, time frame and needs; directs leads appropriately.
• Executes market penetration strategies using web-based sales leads; prepares reports and correspondence.
