Job summary

UFP Industries is seeking an Inside Sales Coordinator I in Grandview, TX. The role focuses on developing new prospects and supporting existing customers mostly by phone to grow sales.

You will maintain frequent communication with customers and account managers, troubleshoot issues, and work under supervision with guideline-based processes. The position requires a high school diploma, 0–2 years in customer service or sales, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of experience in customer service or inside sales preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Maintain frequent communication with the customer base to ensure satisfaction.
• Handle basic issues and refer complex problems to higher-level staff.
• Solicit sales orders from existing regional customers by phone.
• Develop new customers through phone and internet channels.
• Assist qualifying leads by gauging interest, time frame, and needs.
• Execute market penetration strategies using web-based sales leads.
• Communicate sample needs for customers/dealers/contractors with the plant.
• Correspond regularly with customers about brand bulletins, brochures, and program updates.
• Help drive product sales by informing customers about new products.
• Collaborate with regional account managers to fulfill customer requests and solve problems.
• Maintain positive relationships with distributors.
• Coordinate with Production Managers to enhance sales programs.
• Attend shows and product trainings as needed.
• Prepare reports and correspondence as required.
