Job summary

Landry's in New York is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a high-volume, full-service dining operation. You will oversee front- and back-of-house teams, drive sales, control costs, and uphold brand standards.

The role requires at least 3 years of GM experience, strong leadership and communication, and a proven track record in profitability. You will coach staff, ensure safety and service excellence, and deliver an outstanding guest experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years General Manager experience in a full-service, high-volume dining establishment.
• Regional or multi-unit management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of front & back of house operations including food safety, service techniques, staff supervision, inventory, and guest interaction.
• Strong understanding of cost and labor systems that drive profitability.
• Excellent communication and leadership with strong computer and math skills.
• Stable, progressive work history with strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs across food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor.
• Complete financial (invoices, reporting) and payroll related administrative duties accurately, on time and in accordance with policies.
• Maintain professional restaurant image, including cleanliness, uniforms, and appearance standards.
• Ensure positive guest service, investigate and respond to complaints, taking actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests.
• Manage shifts with daily decision making, scheduling, planning while ensuring high quality of food preparation and service.
