You will lead the team, manage food and labor costs, drive profitability, participate in local marketing, and uphold company policies.

The role requires hands-on leadership, staff development, and strong guest focus.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of management experience
• Must have strong customer service
• Ability to hire/train a high performance team
• Understand food and labor costs
• Understand a Profit and Loss Statement and operate restaurant at maximum profitability
• Open availability - weekends and some nights required
• Cash handling skills required
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office required

Responsibilities

• Ensure the restaurant is in full compliance to local, state and federal regulations including health regulations, hour and wage regulations, age restrictions, fair employment practices, ADA, OSHA and other regulations.
• Provide leadership to the restaurant team to consistently meet standards of guest service, quality and cleanliness while upholding the Firehouse Subs culture.
• Ensure profitability by managing food cost, labor, controllable costs, utilities and sales growth.
• Coordinate and implement current operations plans and company initiatives in a profitable, timely manner.
• Staff the restaurant with qualified personnel and develop employees to be ready for advancement.
• Develop and implement local marketing in the trade area.
• Represent Firehouse Subs professionally and maintain relationships with Owner.
• Maintain equipment in full working order and communicate issues to the Owner.
