Job summary

24 Hour Fitness USA, LLC is seeking a General Manager in Houston to drive membership growth, revenue, and operational excellence. You will lead a high-performing team and deliver an exceptional member experience while achieving ambitious sales goals.

You will oversee day-to-day club operations, manage budgets, and build a community-focused culture that motivates staff and members to reach fitness goals. A strong service mindset and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of management experience in the broader retail/hospitality/fitness industry.
• 2-4 years of progressive management experience supervising 3-10+ employees.
• Ability to inspire and lead teams to implement member initiatives with a strong service culture.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire; certification program provided.

Responsibilities

• Drive membership sales, fitness revenue, and other streams, exceeding targets.
• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team with shared goals.
• Provide ongoing coaching and leadership with clear objectives and accountability.
• Create a welcoming, community-focused member experience to drive engagement.
• Oversee daily club operations including maintenance, equipment upkeep, and cleanliness.
• Manage budgets, control expenses, and maximize profitability within policies.
• Implement safety protocols in compliance with regulations to ensure wellbeing.
• Build relationships within the local community and represent the gym at events.
• Develop and execute member retention programs and engagement events.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Maintain club hours aligned to peak business needs.
