Job summary

Empire Medical Training seeks a seasoned Director of Operations to serve as the operational center of the company, leading day-to-day activities across departments and actively identifying opportunities to grow revenue and expand the business.

This hands-on, cross-functional role partners with faculty, marketing, events, and media production to keep programs on schedule and on brand. Fort Lauderdale-based with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years of progressive operations experience, including at least 3 years in a director-level or senior management role with responsibility for multiple functions.
• Demonstrated success owning event and trade show operations from planning through execution.
• Strong business development instincts and a track record of building partnerships that produced measurable results.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the professional presence to be the company’s primary contact for physicians and senior faculty.
• Willingness to travel periodically and to be on-site in Fort Lauderdale.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations across departments (Sales, Marketing, HR, Events, Finance) and ensure projects are completed on time.
• Oversee planning and execution of live workshops, virtual programs, trade shows, and events; track costs, ROI, and attendance.
• Develop new business opportunities and cultivate strategic partnerships to expand curriculum and market reach.
• Manage Faculty relations, scheduling, onboarding, travel, agreements, and event logistics.
• Coordinate with Marketing to promote seminars, trade shows, and new program launches.
• Oversee in-house content production scheduling to align studio time with marketing needs.
