Lithia & Driveway in Houston is hiring a Service Advisor to act as the liaison between customers and technicians. You will prepare repair orders, obtain approvals, and ensure customers understand recommended services and warranties.

This role emphasizes clear communication and a memorable customer experience. The position requires prior Service Advisor or writer experience, a professional demeanor, and the ability to explain technical terms to non-technical customers.

Qualifications

• Previous Service Advisor/Service Writer experience
• Polished and professional demeanor
• Bilingual is a plus
• Ability to communicate technical terms to a non-technical audience
• Create a truly memorable experience for our customers
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Serve as the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensuring the customer's needs are understood by the technician and the needed and recommended service/repairs are understood by the customer.
• Prepare repair orders (RO), obtaining approval signatures and entering RO into service database system.
• Communicate additional repair and service needs to the customer based on vehicle inspection.
• Administer the manufacturer warranty for qualifying vehicle repairs.
• Keep customer informed of service specials, completion times and service expenses.
