Job summary

Boot Barn in Beaumont, Texas seeks an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager in driving sales, delivering exceptional customer service, and leading a high-performing team on a busy retail floor.

You will coach associates, manage merchandising standards, control store operations, and help execute store initiatives to meet annual goals. This role includes collaborative leadership and community engagement with local customers.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree and/or 2 to 4 years of experience in retail store management.
• Experience managing direct reports and leading teams in a selling environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication, customer service, time management and organizational skills.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts to meet business needs including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Flexibility with scheduling and willing to work extended hours when necessary.
• Up to 15% travel to support local stores, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead partners to foster a service & selling culture and exceed overall expectations to build long-standing customer relationships.
• Review goals with partners, providing coaching, actionable feedback, and recognition of excellence on the sales floor.
• Develop and implement partner training plans to improve store performance in operations and merchandising.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to adapt to changing business needs and schedules; assist with hiring and training.
• Plan and execute local community outreach events to drive volume and engagement.
• Contribute to inventory management, signing, and visual presentation per company guidelines.
