Job summary

Boot Barn in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead a high-energy team and drive store performance. The role emphasizes customer service, merchandise presentation, and collaboration with the Store Manager to meet sales goals.

You will coach partners, manage schedules, train staff, and engage with the local community to promote Boot Barn’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and/or 2 to 4 years of experience in retail store management.
• Experience managing direct reports and leading teams in a selling environment.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts to meet business needs including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead partners to foster a service & selling culture and exceed overall expectations to build long-standing customer relationships.
• Review goals with partners, provide coaching and recognition, and be present on the sales floor during peak hours.
• Implement and maintain a learning environment; assist with partner training plans to improve store performance across operations and merchandising.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to adapt to changing business needs, adjust schedules, and support interviewing and hiring.
• Plan and execute community outreach events and drive local engagement.
• Lead and coach teams in customer engagement through loyalty programs and achieve individual/team goals.
