Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in driving sales, service excellence, and efficient store operations. You will coach partners, oversee merchandising standards, and help execute local events to boost community engagement.

The role requires leadership experience in retail, flexibility with shifts, and a focus on achieving store goals while upholding Boot Barn’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or 2–4 years of experience in retail store management.
• Experience managing direct reports and leading teams in a selling environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication, customer service, time management and organizational skills.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Up to 15% travel to support local stores, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead partners to foster a service and selling culture and exceed overall expectations to build long-standing customer relationships.
• Review goals with partners, providing coaching, feedback, and recognition of excellence on the sales floor.
• Develop team members to meet career goals within the company through training and coaching.
• Collaborate with Store Manager on scheduling, policies and hiring for the store team.
• Plan and execute volume-driven events to engage the local community.
