Job summary

Charles Schwab in New York area seeks an Assistant Branch Manager to drive growth, client outcomes, and team performance within the local market. You will partner with the Branch Manager to expand relationships, assets, and market impact using sound judgment and data-driven decisions.

Success comes through Schwab Training and Development via Wealth Management University, followed by formal training in supervision and leadership, with ongoing coaching and mentorship tailored to your background

Qualifications

Valid and active FINRA Series 7 license required.
Currently hold or obtain the FINRA Series 66 license (or Series 63/65).
Currently hold or obtain the FINRA Series 9 and 10 licenses (or Series 8).
Life and Health Insurance license required.
Relevant financial services experience including client acquisition and growth, with leadership exposure preferred.
CFP® designation preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop, coach, and support a team of professionals with clear expectations, actionable feedback, and ongoing performance guidance.
Demonstrate a growth mindset by learning, seeking feedback, and building leadership and business capabilities.
Use active listening to understand client and employee needs and provide thoughtful responses.
Communicate with clarity and purpose to guide decision‑making, align teams, and inspire action.
Partner with the Branch Manager to execute growth initiatives and track performance against key metrics.
Drive branch growth by expanding client relationships, increasing assets, and deepening wallet share.
