Job summary

This role emphasizes hands-on growth design for onboarding, activation, and monetization in AI-enabled products.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of end-to-end product design experience shipping complex, high-impact products from concept to launch.
• A portfolio of shipped work showing activation, adoption, retention, or conversion.
• Experience setting growth direction for a whole product area.
• Hands-on growth design across onboarding, activation, and monetization.
• Comfort with funnels, cohorts, and experiment design.
• Daily use of AI prototyping tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code).
• Strong interaction and visual craft in growth surfaces.
• Clear communication of test results.

Responsibilities

• Drive design for AI adoption across Rippling, from admin setup to daily use.
• Define activated AI user profiles and guardrail metrics.
• Create growth patterns and upgrade moments to standardize product teams.
• Run experiments with PMs and data partners and evaluate results.
• Design fair upgrade and usage-limit moments.
• Engage with customers to uncover where AI helps or where users give up.
• Use LLMs to sharpen problems and prototype in code.
• Raise the bar for growth design and mentor newer designers.
