Rippling is seeking a Growth Design Lead to shape how customers adopt AI across the platform. You will guide admins and employees to trust AI with real work, leveraging the company’s data context to enable operational AI tasks.

You’ll collaborate with PMs, engineers, and data scientists to define problems, prototype with LLMs, and ship experiences that shift customer behavior. The role emphasizes experimentation and cross-team learning.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of end-to-end product design experience shipping complex, high-impact products.
• Portfolio of shipped work showing activation, adoption, retention, or conversion.
• Experience setting growth direction for a whole product area and getting teams to follow it.
• Hands-on growth design across onboarding, activation, and monetization.
• Daily use of LLMs and AI prototyping tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar).
• Strong interaction and visual craft.
• Clear communication, including explaining a test result to people hoping for a different one.

Aufgaben

• Drive design for AI adoption across Rippling, from an admin's first setup to an employee's daily use.
• Define activated AI user and guardrail metrics with PM and data science.
• Build shared growth patterns to standardize product teams.
• Run experiments with PM and data partners; read results and flag winners.
• Design upgrade and usage-limit moments that feel fair and transparent.
• Engage with customers to identify where AI helps or stalls and turn into priorities.
• Use LLMs to sharpen problems and prototype in code with AI tools.
• Raise the bar for growth design and mentor newer designers.
