Job summary

Chesapeake Contracting Group in Baltimore seeks a mid-level Business Development & Marketing Manager to bridge branding with BD execution. You will manage leads, support strategic initiatives, and align marketing content with company goals while engaging with clients and partners.

Responsibilities include CRM upkeep, proposals, presentations, event planning, and collaboration across BD, marketing, and operations to drive growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in marketing, business development coordination, or related field.
• Experience in construction, real estate, engineering, or professional services is a plus.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms (Insightly or similar) and marketing/BD tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage incoming leads, ensure timely follow-up and qualification.
• Collaborate with marketing to align outreach, branding, and messaging with BD goals.
• Assist with proposals, presentations, and capability statements for client meetings.
• Plan and coordinate industry events, tradeshows, conferences, and meetings.
• Maintain regional BD calendars, track outreach, and support executives.
