Chinook Systems Inc. in Arlington, VA seeks a Vice President of Business Development & Marketing to drive an integrated growth engine across all Lines of Business.

This hands-on leadership role engages industry, clients, and partners to identify opportunities, lead capture strategies, and align marketing with business development to grow revenue. The role is hybrid with in-office attendance at our Arlington, VA HQ, remote work, and up to 50% travel to client sites, including outside the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in business development, capture, or growth leadership for public sector.
• Experience selling maintenance, repairs and services, construction procurement and installation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an integrated BD and marketing strategy aligned with Chinook's plan.
• Define priority markets, agencies, and strategic accounts.
• Establish annual pipeline and revenue growth targets.
• Lead outward-facing business development activities and identify opportunities across sectors.
• Develop capture strategies, plans and win themes.
• Oversee marketing strategy to strengthen visibility and support pipeline.
• Ensure sales and marketing materials support growth strategy.
• Lead weekly BD pipeline reviews and maintain CRM data.
