Job summary

Zendesk is seeking a Senior Manager, Growth Analytics to lead a team of analysts and be a strategic analytics partner across PLG Product Managers and Engineers. You will shape analytics strategy and operate at scale from acquisition to expansion, driving better product decisions.

You will engage deeply with complex questions, design measurement plans, and accelerate analysis using SQL, Python, and modern data platforms. This role blends hands-on analysis with leadership and strategy.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in product analytics, growth analytics, BI, or data science.
• Experience designing, measuring, or interpreting product experiments and A/B tests.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with complex data from multiple sources.
• Experience with Python, R, or similar for analysis.
• Experience with modern data platforms (Snowflake, dbt) is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Help leaders understand PLG journey performance and friction points.
• Build relationships across Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering and Data teams.
• Partner with PLG PMs and Engineers to define questions, hypotheses, goals, and success metrics.
• Lead and develop a team of growth analysts with coaching and career growth.
• Establish measurement for the PLG funnel: acquisition, activation, retention, expansion.
• Analyze customer behavior using segmentation, cohorts, funnels, retention, experimentation.
• Design measurement plans for initiatives and experiments including metrics and instrumentation.
• Improve quality and consistency of product analytics with defined metrics and dashboards.
• Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate analysis, SQL and Python development, modeling.
