Job summary

Zendesk is seeking a Senior Manager, Growth Analytics to lead a team of analysts and partner with PLG Product Managers and engineers across the customer journey. You will shape analytics strategy and metrics to help products acquire, activate, convert, and expand at scale.

You’ll collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Data to establish robust measurement plans, dashboards, and self‑service reporting, while guiding growth-focused analytics initiatives.

Qualifications

Experience in product analytics or growth analytics in a software/SaaS environment.
Experience designing, measuring, or interpreting product experiments and A/B tests.
Strong SQL skills with complex data from multiple sources.
Experience using Python, R, or similar languages for statistical analysis.
Familiarity with modern data platforms (Snowflake, dbt) and dashboards.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of growth analysts; set priorities and coach careers.
Define business questions, hypotheses, goals, and success metrics with product/eng teams.
Establish measurement plans for PLG funnel: acquisition, activation, retention, expansion.
Build dashboards and self-service reporting; ensure metric definitions and data quality.
Apply AI-assisted tooling to accelerate analysis, reporting, and data modeling.
