Job summary

Zendesk seeks a Senior Manager, Growth Analytics to lead a team of analysts and partner with PLG product managers and engineers across the customer journey. The role blends hands-on analysis with strategic leadership, shaping the analytics strategy, operating model, and capabilities that enable product teams to decide at scale.

You will design measurement plans, build dashboards, mentor analysts, and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Data to improve acquisition,

Qualifications

• Significant experience in product analytics and growth analytics within SaaS.
• Experience designing/measuring product experiments and A/B tests with causal reasoning.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with complex data across sources.

Responsibilities

• Help leaders understand PLG journey performance, friction, and improvement opportunities.
• Build relationships across Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering and Data to drive self-service bookings and growth.
• Partner with PLG PMs and Engineers to define questions, hypotheses, goals, and success metrics.
• Lead and develop a team of growth analysts with coaching and career support.
• Establish and evolve measurement for the PLG funnel (acquisition through expansion).
• Analyze customer behavior using segmentation, cohorts, funnels, retention, and experiments.
• Design measurement plans for initiatives and experiments, including metrics and instrumentation.
• Improve quality and consistency of product analytics through defined metrics, event tracking, dashboards, and self-service reporting.
• Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate analysis, SQL/Python development, data modeling, and documentation.
