Job summary

Zendesk is seeking a Senior Manager of Growth Analytics to lead a team of analysts driving product-led growth insights across the customer journey. You will partner with PLG PMs and Engineers to shape analytics strategy, operating model, and capabilities enabling data-backed decisions at scale.

The role blends hands-on analysis with strategic leadership, requiring deep experience in product analytics, experimentation, and data platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience in product analytics or growth analytics in a SaaS environment.
• Experience designing experiments and A/B tests with statistical reasoning.
• Strong SQL skills across multiple sources.
• Experience using Python, R, or similar for analysis.
• Familiarity with Snowflake, dbt or similar platforms.
• Ability to define metrics and measurement plans with Product and Engineering.
• Experience building dashboards and self-service reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Identify PLG journey performance and opportunities to improve outcomes.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering and Data teams.
• Define business questions, hypotheses, goals, and success metrics.
• Lead growth analysts and mentor their development.
• Establish and evolve PLG funnel measurements.
• Analyze customer behavior using segmentation, cohorts, funnels, and retention.
• Design measurement plans for initiatives and experiments.
• Improve analytics quality with metrics, event tracking, dashboards.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, SQL and Python work.
