Job summary

Fairmont Austin, part of Accor, is seeking a Group Sales Manager to lead solicitation and contract of group business in assigned markets.

You'll work with catering and front office to ensure contract execution, prepare reports, and drive monthly/quarterly/annual sales objectives. Travel to meet clients may be required. This luxury property offers a dynamic team and growth opportunities within Accor's global network.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel sales or group sales preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Solicit group and banquet business through action plan and execution.
• Establish quotes and negotiate prices, confirm by written contracts.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales reports.
• Collaborate with Catering and Front Office to ensure contract delivery and guest satisfaction.
• Represent the property at tradeshows and industry events.
