Job summary

Hilton Minneapolis Airport is seeking a proactive Sales Manager in Bloomington, MN to lead aggressive sales solicitation and nurture leads through to definite status. You will assist in annual marketing planning, cover assigned market segments, and ensure accurate collection of group details for billing, rooming lists, and VIP arrangements.

The role emphasizes timely proposals and coordination with catering on event details.

• Conduct a successful, aggressive solicitation process involving outside sales calls, inside appointments, telephone calls, individual letters and direct mail.
• Assist the Director of Sales in the preparation of the annual marketing plan, including action plans for assigned market segments.
• Send proposals on all leads fitting the property's profile and actively follow through to convert from proposal to definite status.
• Obtain, document and route all necessary information on definite groups, including billing information, credit applications, rooming lists and VIP arrangements; pass details to the catering manager for follow-up.

• Obtain, document and route all necessary information on definite groups, including billing information, credit application, rooming list and VIP arrangements. Details on meeting arrangements, menus, audio-visual arrangements, etc., should be documented and passed on to catering manager for follow up.

Salary range for this position starts at (based on experience): $65,000- $75,000.
