Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Marketing, Business Development, or Travel/Tourism or equivalent experience.
• Two years' experience in sales and tour coordination preferred.
• Previous casino shuttle program and group sales experience preferred.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
• Must be comfortable public speaking.
• Spanish language fluency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fosters relationships with external contacts and attends networking functions to generate new leads for group business.
• Conducts property tours and attends trade shows as a property ambassador.
• Executes programs to attract group business, including database management, promotions, and telemarketing.
• Meets with clients to determine objectives, budget and timeline for events.
• Assists in creating signage, collateral, venue layouts, contracts, and billing statements for events.
• Coordinates with departments to coordinate event logistics and ensure casino standards are met.
• Tracks all charges and payments related to events in a timely manner.
• Assists with budgeting and execution of the Group Tours Charter Bus Program.
• Administers knowledge of the player tracking system and its functionality.
• Confirms promotional offers for Group Sales and Group Tours programs per procedures.
• Creates an environment of trust and mutual respect within the department and with guests.
• Participates in promotional activities of the Marketing Department as needed.
