Job summary

Blackberry Farm, LLC. seeks a Group Sales Manager to secure and manage group business for Blackberry Farm, Blackberry Mountain, and High Hampton Hotels. You will coordinate room blocks, events, meals, and site visits, while negotiating contracts and maintaining group policies.

The role involves direct engagement with corporate, leisure, and wedding planners, leading site visits, and promoting venues at trade shows to drive group revenue and ADR.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent experience in group sales or service preferred.
• Hospitality industry experience required.
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Opera.
• Must be a leader in their current role and give examples of how they succeed ahead of their peers.

Responsibilities

• Act as a contact for corporate, leisure, and wedding group planners.
• Coordinate group details including room blocks, activities, meals, meetings, and special requests.
• Oversee deposits, payments, and postings; approve receipts.
• Communicate group requirements to all operational staff.
• Sell group activities and special services; create and maintain group manuals.
• Write and negotiate group proposals and contracts; generate and mail them promptly.
• Promote the locations as meeting, leisure, and wedding destinations through trade shows and calls.
• Attend trade shows and handle pre-show mailings and post-show follow-up.
