Job summary

HorseShoe Beverage Company in Memphis, TN is seeking a Reservations Agent to handle group reservations, changes and cancellations, and provide information to guests. You will review files to ensure billing and requests are processed accurately and assist during peak times.

The role requires strong English communication, basic arithmetic, and proficiency with reservation systems. You will work with Revenue Manager and Sales teams to optimize guest experiences and maximize room revenue.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or vocational training.
• Compute basic arithmetic including percentages.
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
• Provide legible communication and directions.
• Input and access information in the reservation system.
• Ability to type 30 words per minute.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest information.
• Previous Reservations Agent experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process group reservation requests, changes and cancellations.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to inquiries.
• Coordinate with Revenue Manager and Sales/ Catering teams.
• Assist Reservationists during peak shifts and calls.
• Explain policies and ensure accurate billing and room blocks.
• Input group rooming lists and maintain reservations in PMS.
• Maintain neat, organized files and communicate with guests clearly.
