Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Group Manager Logistics I to oversee financial, operational and employee aspects across multiple accounts in a nationally recognized Fortune 500 logistics organization.

You will drive profitability, ensure safety, mentor staff, and deliver exceptional customer satisfaction while guiding strategic initiatives and process improvements. A strong background in transportation, distribution and LEAN practices is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or supply chain is required.
• Master's degree in a related field preferred.
• 5+ years in managing large multi-level teams.
• Experience developing and implementing complete logistics solutions.
• LEAN environment experience; knowledge of P&L and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial, operational and employee aspects of multiple accounts.
• Drive profitability, retention, and growth while meeting safety and customer goals.
• Develop and mentor direct and indirect reports; perform performance evaluations.
• Lead SOX reconciliation and revenue recognition processes as applicable.
• Coordinate location processes, KPI tracking, and driver safety initiatives.
