Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in the United States seeks a Group Manager Logistics I to oversee financial, operational and employee aspects across multiple accounts. You will drive profitability, retention and growth while achieving safety and customer satisfaction goals.

You are expected to lead staff development, manage performance, and coordinate with CLS/CLC to optimize location processes and continuous improvement initiatives. A strong Lean and KPI mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/logistics or related field is required.
• Master's degree is preferred but not required.
• 5+ years in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or related field.
• Experience managing direct reports and multi-level teams.
• LEAN project management experience is preferred.
• 1+ year in managing customer KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial, operational and employee aspects across multiple accounts.
• Drive profitable retention and growth while meeting safety and customer goals.
• Lead development, performance evaluations and coaching for staff.
• Ensure KPI tracking and continuous improvement in transportation/distribution.
• Address risk, SOX compliance, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with CLS/CLC and other teams to optimize locations.
